Editorial and Corrections Policy

WorkHoursKit publishes calculators and supporting explanations for work hours, pay estimates, shift schedules, staffing, coverage and calendar planning. This policy describes how content is created, reviewed, sourced and corrected.
Purpose
Each page should help a visitor complete or understand a specific calculation. Pages are not created simply to target a search phrase. A calculator page should contain a working tool, a clear explanation of what it calculates, the assumptions that materially affect the answer, at least one traceable example where appropriate, limitations and links to related tools when they genuinely help the task.
Originality and page-specific content
WorkHoursKit aims to publish original calculator logic, examples and explanatory text tailored to the calculation on the page. Shared privacy, safety or methodology notices may appear across multiple pages because those statements apply site-wide, but the substantive explanation should remain specific to the tool and its inputs.
Calculator development
Calculator logic is built around explicit formulas and adjustable assumptions. Representative normal, boundary and invalid-input cases may be tested before publication and after material code changes. Sources
Pure mathematical explanations are normally derived from the formula implemented in the tool. For facts that can change by law, regulation or government policy, WorkHoursKit prefers official or primary sources. A source link is provided to help the reader verify the rule; it does not mean the calculator determines legal entitlement for every jurisdiction.
Digital and AI-assisted tools
Digital or AI-assisted tools may support drafting, coding, test generation, formatting, comparison or research organization. WorkHoursKit remains responsible for the published result. Material is reviewed for relevance to the calculator, and automated output is not treated as an authoritative source for legal or policy facts.
Advertising independence
Advertising relationships do not determine calculator formulas or mathematical results. Sponsored or affiliate content, if used, is identified separately. See the Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
Possible errors can be reported to [email protected]. Useful reports include the exact page URL, non-sensitive inputs, the displayed result and the expected result. Confirmed material errors may be corrected in the calculator code, explanatory text, example or source link as appropriate.
Updates and dates
A page may be updated when calculator logic, sources, platform behavior or material facts change. Dates are changed when a substantive review or update actually occurs; WorkHoursKit does not intentionally refresh dates solely to make old material appear new.
